About
David G. Webb, D.O.M.
Dr. Webb began his medical career in 1988 in emergency medicine as a paramedic, and later worked for Children’s Hospital in Denver Colorado before pursuing a career in Oriental Medicine. In private practice since 1996, he received his training in Oriental Medicine from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver, Colorado.
During his career, Dr. Webb’s practice has evolved into 3 main areas of specialty – pain and injury, allergies and sensitivities, and biotoxin related illness, including mold related illness and Lyme and co-infections.
For the treatment of pain and injury, Dr. Webb integrates select cutting edge medical technologies with the ancient wisdom of Oriental Medicine to offer the most gentle and pain free, yet powerful and highly effective pain and injury treatments. Treatments for pain and injury include Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM), used by professional sports organizations for it’s remarkable ability to greatly accelerate healing and reduce inflammation and pain; Biopuncture, the injection of homeopathic medicines for pain relief, inflammation reduction, and healing support; Cold Laser for accelerated healing and pain relief; as well as acupuncture and herbal anti-inflammatories.
Early in his career, Dr. Webb developed a passion for helping his patients overcome their food, chemical and environmental allergy and sensitivity symptoms. To identify the allergies and sensitivities that are impacting his patients’ health, he uses a combination of conventional lab testing and Autonomic Response Testing (ART). Treatments include NAET and other methods to support immune tolerance.
As a result of Dr. Webb’s advanced studies in biotoxin related illness, a large part of his practice has become devoted to helping his patients manage dysautonomias, Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS), POTS, and chronic fatigue related to mold toxicity as well as Lyme and its co-infections.
Throughout his career, Dr. Webb has enjoyed teaching, and his career has included a teaching position at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver, as well as public speaking at conferences and public health forums. He has been a regular featured radio talk show guest, focusing on educating the public on health and wellness issues, and has been featured on the local Denver Fox31 news channel for his unique and highly effective program for eliminating allergy and food sensitivity symptoms.
Dr. Webb also brings to his practice professional HIV certification from the nationally recognized Quan Yin Healing Arts Center in San Francisco, California. He ran his own free clinic for 6 years in Denver Colorado for individuals diagnosed with HIV infection and AIDS. Since moving to south Florida in 2003, he helped create the Wellness center at Poverello, an AIDS charity in Wilton Manors, and offered free treatments to its clients for 6 years.
Since working at the Poverello Wellness Center, Dr. Webb has worked at the International Holistic Center and Maximum Wellness Center before moving his practice to his current location in Wilton Manors, where, for the past 5 years, he has continued to expand his knowledge base and treatment methods offered, to fulfill his lifelong passion of helping others enjoy a happy, healthy and pain free life.
